The Ride.

Get ready, my friends, for the time of your life. I imagine you have all been waiting for this moment your whole life, whether you have realized it or not. It isn't being forced upon you. Although if you don't follow this path, everything you know or love will, in fact, be completely lost to you. The object of the quest is to find the one thing you desire most in your heart, and harness your greatest talents. You may be told that you can't do it, that it is not your place and destiny to accomplish this. I warn you now that these are the words of a liar, a demon who wishes only that you fail miserably in this important quest. Now dear, it is your time to move forward and be the best you can be. Uplift your friends, hone your talents to let them shine, and fulfill the destiny you were sent to this place and time on earth for. No one can do what you can; therefore don't just blow this encouragement off. You are the only one, who can be the best at what you alone are meant to do, and you are meant to do greater things then you can ever imagine. Succeed at this I beg of you! Do not give up in this war you were born into, for if you fall to the enemies side, you may fail us all.

Her

She looked down her nose at the pathetic scum everyone else called people. She was proud to know she would never have to stoop that low in her prada high heels. Literally or figuratively. An obnoxiously short girl ran into her and she felt a burst of fury in her chest. She turned around to sneer at this girl who quickly looked down self consciously at her shoes. She whispered a threat to her and smiled proudly. The little girl felt tears roll down her face and swore to never cross an angry selfish girl's path again.

Society's Exception.

Sometimes I begin to wonder if I am the only one who wishes to be excepted from society. The world we live in shapes our thoughts, our interests, our looks. What if I don't want society to tell me what to look like? What if I want to be me? Not a societal copy cat. I wonder how that can possibly be reached, seeing how much our world tells me what to do. I try to be Society's Exception and yet here I have created a blog, I straighten hair, I pick clothes that I hope people will find "cute" all because Society has told me that I must fit the mold. I must be a clone like any normal high school girl. I am not a copy cat. I want to be me. But how can I find me when society has told her who to be?

Inspired.

An expanding in her heart as her eyes devoured the words on the page even down to the last period. Her breathing started to deepen in her excitement. Finally she relaxed relieved at the news and let her smile take over her face. She was relieved to be reading these words. She had begun to think she was forgotten, but this letter proved all her silly suspicions were wrong and the stress couldn't have left fast enough. It was everything she had been hoping to hear in the past few days. She reread the precious letter again and felt joyful tears escape her eyes. Could anything be better? She stood up almost in a daze and felt like singing loudly with this happiness in her soul. Everyone should feel this compassionate and she felt desperate to share this great feeling with others. These words had inspired her and she knew everyone could use the help she had just found.

Where were you?

Her hands started to shake and the tears began to crawl down her face. She knew there was something out there, hiding behind the darkness. No one had told her there might be something here to hurt her. She wished she could blame it all on them but in her heart she knew it was her fault and nothing could change that. The terrifying killer beyond her sight was here for her and only her. Shudders ran desperately down her spine. Long lost hope of escape tightened her muscles and made her breath stutter. Her last thoughts were of you saving her from the depths of despair. Coming as a charmer to fight the last dying breath.

Remember.

This Christmas season is coming. You see red and green in every house, you hear carols sung at every door, you taste eggnog or sparkling cider through out this season, the smells of peppermint candy canes and cold biting at your nose, the feel of a fresh tree or ripping open all your presents. Everyone has memories of Christmas with that fantastic toy you got and played with for the next couple weeks before wishing for a new one. The memories are great! But I wonder if you remember what happened that spring late one night, in a small barn surrounded by animals. A precious child was born. Although he was just a newborn baby he was infinitely the most important being to walk this earth. He was the only one to bring us eternal life so we could go back to our heavenly family. I know I have always had a hard time remembering this with all the commercial excitement to get new toys. I hope we all remember what this day is really for, a child in a manager who shepherds worship and wise men seek out. What are you willing to give to Jesus this Christmas?

The Note.

The tears stung her cheeks and anger burned on her face. Everyone turned to stare but she was far past caring about there strange looks. She took the paper she clenched tightly in her hand and squeezed tighter hoping he would feel the pain through his written words. She stomped out of the building barely able to contain her selfishness enough to walk out. Thundering out the building her feelings boiled over and a heart wrenching scream left her lips. She fell to her knees finally letting the simple note go from the strangling she was giving it. Emotions flowed from her eyes Dreading their journey down.
