This seemed to be becoming a common circumstance, me behind cruel, unjust bars, arrogant and laughing eyes on the other side. But here in this steel cage in a huge concrete compound there were a few differences from the last time I was a prisoner, for instance there were a lot of people in this little cell. And outside this cell, looking at me were arrogant laughing eyes, familiar blue eyes. I could remember smiling up at them but before they weren’t so hard and mean. I noticed tears pooling in my eyes and quickly blinked them away.
